Hello everyone! 

My name is Romy. I created this travel blog in 2016, while I was still a student and just craving adventure. Back then juggling studying and travel blogging and now I’m balancing my own photography business with an adventurous nomadic lifestyle. In short, I love nature, I am an avid hiker, adventurer at heart, full-time photographer, diver and always looking for new challenges. As a student I started traveling on a very limited budget and I’ve continued traveling in true backpacker style. Whatever your budget, there’s always a way to travel. I started this website as a way to document my travels, but also to show you  how to make your travel dreams come true. I have a broad spectrum of interest, so whether you love culture, hiking, safaris, great food or beach holidays, I’ll have something to share with you. Follow along while I keep exploring every corner of the world.

What can you expect from Brunette at Sunset?

You can expect an honest opinion about every place I visit. Travel is mostly wonderful, but I won’t sugarcoat when it isn’t. Personally I even kind of enjoy it when things go awry sometimes and I have to problem solve on the road. I hope to give you real advice that will help you plan your dream trip! So expect budget guides, travel routes and inside tips as well. Besides the main attractions, I love finding places off the beaten track. I try to share my tips for both the most popular spots and for my more unique finds. Finding the most beautiful and unique places on earth is what I live for.
